Apple dominated the global smartphone sales rankings in Q2 2026, placing five iPhone models among the world’s 10 best-selling smartphones, according to Counterpoint Research.
The iPhone 17 took the top spot with a 6% share of global smartphone sales, followed by the iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro. The iPhone 17e ranked seventh, while the iPhone 16 came in tenth.
Samsung was the only other brand in the top 10, with five models, led by the Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G in fourth place.
The top 10 smartphones accounted for 26% of global sales, up from 24% a year earlier. Apple’s unit sales grew 5% year-on-year despite an overall decline in the smartphone market, with strong demand for the iPhone 17 series helping drive its performance.
