Motorola is reportedly preparing to launch its first wide foldable smartphone later this year, joining Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi in the growing category.
Design sketches show two possible versions, both featuring a horizontally aligned rear camera module with three cutouts. The phone is expected to have an ultra-slim body, minimal bezels, a creaseless folding display and a 3D glass back with metal camera-module accents.
The sketches also reveal selfie cameras on both the inner and outer displays, while Motorola branding appears on the hinge. The company’s wide foldable is expected to launch in the coming months, although its name and exact release date remain unknown.
