Google Photos may soon let users regenerate AI wardrobe images

Google Photos is working on a new “Regenerate image” option for its AI-powered wardrobe feature. It will let users recreate the generated image of a clothing item, shoes, glasses or other accessories if the first result doesn’t accurately represent the real product.

The regeneration runs in the background, but the new image may also introduce changes such as different colors, logos or details. This could make the feature more useful for Google Photos’ virtual outfit tool, which relies on these AI-generated wardrobe images to show how different items look together.
