The Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max has launched in China as the top model in the Mate 90 series, featuring a 6.9-inch 120Hz dual-layer LTPO OLED display, a Kirin 9050 Pro chipset and a 6,800mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Its camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with a variable f/1.4–f/4.0 aperture, a 200MP periscope telephoto with 4x optical zoom and a 40MP ultrawide camera. The Collector’s Edition also supports Huawei’s Ruiying Z10 external camera module, which adds a 1-inch RYYB sensor and 10x continuous optical zoom across a 24–240mm focal range.
Other features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, eSIM, NFC, StarLight E2.0 and an IP69 rating. Pricing starts at CNY 9,499 ($1,420), while the top Collector’s Edition with 1TB storage costs CNY 12,999 ($1,940). The complete Pro Camera Kit with the Z10 module is priced at CNY 19,499 ($2,910).
