Apple executive chair and former CEO Tim Cook sold 191,753 Apple shares on October 2, worth more than $63 million, after 374,541 restricted stock units vested as part of his compensation.
Apple also withheld nearly 199,000 shares to cover taxes, while Cook gifted another 26,325 shares. The sale was made under a pre-arranged Rule 10b5-1 trading plan.
Despite the transactions, Cook still holds more than 3.2 million Apple shares through his trust.
