YouTube is reportedly in talks with publishers to bring audiobooks to its Premium subscription, potentially launching the feature next year.
Unlike Google Play, which sells audiobooks individually, YouTube could include them in its ad-free subscription. The move would strengthen YouTube Premium’s offering and put it in more direct competition with Spotify. Google has not officially confirmed the plans.
