Meta is enhancing its AI chatbot, Meta AI, by adding a new feature that allows interaction with user-shared photos on WhatsApp. Currently, Meta AI can respond to text queries, suggest captions and hold conversations, but users cannot share photos. The new feature, found in the WhatsApp beta for Android, will enable Meta AI to reply to and edit photos, and answer questions about them. While the full capabilities of the image editing function are unclear, users will have control over their photos, including the option to delete them. The feature is still in development, with no set release date.
