According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple has delayed several iOS 19 features to the iOS 19.4 release, expected in spring 2026. This follows a similar strategy with iOS 18, where revamped Siri won’t launch until iOS 18.4 next year.
While specific features remain unclear, the delays include more than the new LLM-powered Siri, designed to perform tasks closer to ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini. iOS 19 will debut at WWDC in June 2025, with the public release in September alongside the new iPhone 17 Air.
