First laptop with a rollable screen will set you back $3,499

Lenovo has launched the world’s first commercial laptop with a rollable display, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6. Featuring a 14-inch OLED screen that expands vertically to 16.7 inches at the touch of a button or a hand gesture, it’s designed for tasks like document reading, coding and content creation and supports multiple app windows.

The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, up to 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD storage and a 66Wh battery. It includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a 65W USB-C GaN charger. Priced at $3,499, it launches in Q1 2025, offering innovative screen tech at a premium over foldable alternatives like the Lenovo X1 Fold.
