TikTok has introduced AI Alive, a new feature that lets users animate static photos into short videos using text prompts. Accessible through the Story Camera, users can select a photo and describe how they want it to come to life – like turning a sunset image into a dynamic, cinematic scene.
All AI-generated videos will be clearly labeled and include C2PA metadata to ensure transparency. TikTok says it has implemented multiple safeguards to prevent misuse. The feature is rolling out now, so expect to see AI Alive clips on your feed soon.
