A new report from US PIRG ranks major smartphone brands by repairability – and the results are largely poor.
Motorola leads with a B+, followed by Google Pixel at C-, while Samsung (D) and Apple (D-) trail behind.
The rankings consider factors like ease of disassembly, spare parts availability, documentation, and software support. While no brand scored highly, the report aims to pressure manufacturers to improve device repairability.
