Google has introduced “Continue On,” a new Android 17 feature that lets users seamlessly continue app activities across devices. For example, you can start working on a document or email on your Android phone and pick up exactly where you left off on a tablet connected to the same account.
The feature supports both app-to-app handoffs and web-based transitions, with fallback support if the receiving device doesn’t have the required app installed. Initially, Continue On will support phone-to-tablet transfers and is expected to launch with Android 17.
