Anthropic is reportedly preparing a major upgrade for Claude Voice Mode, adding support for 18 new languages including German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Ukrainian. The update could also allow seamless language switching during conversations, similar to rivals like ChatGPT and Gemini.
The expanded voice feature is said to include new voice options and a push-to-talk mode for better conversation control. Claude Voice already integrates with Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Docs for productivity-focused tasks such as summarizing schedules and reviewing documents.
Anthropic has not officially confirmed the update yet, but reports suggest the company is preparing a broader global rollout for Claude Voice Mode.
