Meta is launching global subscription plans for Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, alongside new paid offerings for Meta AI users, creators and businesses. The new “Plus” plans cost $3.99 per month for Facebook and Instagram and $2.99 for WhatsApp. They will run alongside Meta Verified rather than replacing it.
Subscribers to Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus will get features like advanced Story analytics, extended Story duration, unlimited audience lists, Story previews before posting and more control over who sees content. Additional perks include custom app icons, fonts, animated reactions and profile customization tools.
WhatsApp Plus adds custom ringtones, new themes, more pinned chats, extra sticker packs and improved list management features.
