Google is about to launch screenless fitness band

Fitbit may finally be ready to launch new hardware after a long quiet period. The company teased a slim, screenless wearable on Instagram with the caption “Buckle up. 5.7.26,” hinting at an announcement tomorrow.

The device is expected to be the rumored Fitbit Air, a screenless fitness band designed to compete with WHOOP. Leaks suggest it could cost around $99, with an optional Fitbit Premium subscription priced at $79.99 per year — still cheaper than WHOOP’s entry-level plan.

Fitbit hasn’t officially confirmed the name, pricing or availability yet, but all signs point to an imminent reveal.
