Sony’s upcoming Xperia 1 VIII has leaked early through Amazon listings in the UK and Germany before being quickly removed. The listings suggest the flagship phone could launch on June 26, with an official announcement possibly arriving later this month.
The leaked prices were surprisingly high — around €1,869 in Germany and £1,728 in the UK — though these may only be placeholder prices. Sony is also expected to bundle the new WH-1000XM6 headphones with the device.
Specs mentioned in the listings include a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED 120Hz display, Xperia AI features, a 3.5mm headphone jack, two-day battery life and a triple-camera setup with ultrawide, main and new 70mm telephoto lenses. The phone may come in Graphite Black, Iolite Silver and Garnet Red colors.
