iOS 27 public beta is here!

Apple has released the first iOS 27 public beta, giving iPhone users an early look at its biggest software update of the year. The update introduces a new AI-powered Siri, redesigned Screen Time, Liquid Glass improvements, performance upgrades and many quality-of-life changes.

The new Siri, powered by Apple Intelligence, can hold longer conversations, understand on-screen content, search personal information and perform actions across apps. Other AI features include smarter Safari tools, advanced photo editing with Clean Up, Extend and Spatial Reframing, improved Shortcuts and natural-language assistance across apps.

iOS 27 also brings faster app launches, improved AirDrop speeds, smarter network switching, a redesigned Screen Time experience for families, customizable Liquid Glass appearance and numerous smaller updates across Photos, Messages, FaceTime, Home and AirPods.

The public beta is available for iPhone 11 and newer, but Apple Intelligence features require compatible devices such as the iPhone 15 Pro and later. The final iOS 27 release is expected this fall.
