A new report suggests that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will feature a significantly larger battery, with a rated capacity of 784mAh (likely marketed as 800mAh), up from the 590mAh battery in the current model. However, charging speeds will remain unchanged at 10W, the same as its predecessor.
The Galaxy Watch9 40mm is also expected to receive a battery upgrade, increasing from 325mAh to 400mAh typical capacity. Meanwhile, the 44mm Galaxy Watch9 is rumored to retain the same 435mAh battery as the previous generation.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Watch9, Galaxy Watch9 Classic and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra at a launch event rumored for July 22.
