Google has officially relaunched its AI-powered Google Finance service out of beta, alongside a new Android app and expanded features.
The updated platform, powered by Gemini models, now includes a global “Portfolios” feature that lets users consolidate investments into a single dashboard using files or screenshots. It also offers AI-driven research tools, allowing users to ask questions about asset allocation, market performance and investment strategy, as well as request custom financial briefings.
The new Android app – returning after being removed in 2015 – provides real-time stock data, news, watchlists and AI explanations for market movements, with a redesigned interface using Material 3 Expressive. Google says iOS support will follow later this year, with more features like live earnings calls planned in future updates.
