A new report suggests Samsung may finally bring rollable-screen smartphones to market within the next few years, with a potential launch targeted for the first half of 2028.
According to industry sources, Samsung Display is working with Samsung Electronics on a device possibly called the Galaxy Z Slide or Galaxy Z Roll, featuring a roughly 10-inch expandable display. While rollable technology is still far more complex than foldables, Samsung is believed to be leading the field and could dominate the early market as competitors try to catch up.
