North Korean hackers breached OPPO and hundreds of other companies

A cybersecurity researcher claims that OPPO was among more than 1,600 organizations across 57 countries targeted in a years-long North Korean hacking campaign. While the operation mainly targeted cryptocurrency assets, researchers warn the hackers also gained extensive access to company networks, though it’s unclear whether OPPO or its smartphone users were directly affected.
