A new report claims SpaceX is working on an AI hardware device that is slimmer than an iPhone. The prototype was reportedly shown to investors ahead of the company’s public offering.
The device is said to run a proprietary operating system and use a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, powered by SpaceX’s AI technology following its integration with xAI. However, it is unclear whether the product will ever reach the market.
The development adds to growing competition in AI hardware, with Apple also working on AI wearables and OpenAI exploring dedicated devices led by former Apple designer Jony Ive.
