Google is gradually rolling out Motion Assist on Android 17, starting with Pixel phones. The feature is designed to reduce motion sickness by displaying moving visual cues around the edges of the screen that match the vehicle’s movement.
Motion Assist can automatically activate when the phone detects that you’re in a moving vehicle, or it can be switched on and off manually through a Quick Settings tile. Users can also customize the cues’ color, shape and opacity.
The feature is currently rolling out in phases, so availability may vary even among Pixel devices running Android 17.
