Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6.1 adds support for using the Pixel 11 Pro’s HiLight LED for incoming messages. When enabled, the LED flashes twice when a message arrives from a favorite contact.
The new option can be found under Settings > System > HiLight > Manage Experiences, and HiLight can also be enabled or disabled separately for individual contacts. New HiLight colors are not yet included and may arrive in a future update.
Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6.1 is currently available for the Pixel 11 Pro, Pro XL and Pro Fold, with the stable release expected in December.
