Apple is reportedly working on two new game controllers designed for its devices, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, corroborating clues found in macOS beta code.
The controllers are expected to feature a D-pad, thumbsticks, haptic motors and potentially accelerometers and gyroscopes for motion controls. Gurman says the accessories could launch under the Beats brand, potentially at a lower price than Apple-branded hardware.
The controllers could also strengthen gaming on Apple TV and support the growing number of AAA games available on iPhone and Mac.
