Xiaomi has officially revealed its new Xiaomi 18 Fold, confirming its design and a September 7 launch in China, just two days before Apple’s upcoming event where the iPhone Ultra foldable is expected to debut.
The wide foldable will feature a 5.38-inch external display and 7.58-inch inner screen, along with a triple-camera setup and Xiaomi’s new XRing O3 processor.
According to leaks, the camera system could include a 3.5x optical zoom telephoto lens, a feature missing from several competing wide foldables. The rumored Leica Summilux setup also includes a main camera and an ultrawide lens.
Xiaomi has not yet confirmed whether the 18 Fold will launch globally, but its premium design and specifications suggest it may come with a high price tag.
