Apple is expected to launch a new high-end version of AirPods Pro later this year, possibly branded as “AirPods Ultra” instead of another Pro model.
The new earbuds are rumored to feature infrared cameras for AI-powered capabilities, potential hand gesture controls and a new H3 chip. Priced around $299, they would sit above the current AirPods Pro 3.
Following reports that Apple plans to expand its “Ultra” branding across products, this model could mark a new category focused on more experimental and futuristic features rather than just incremental upgrades.
