Google unveils Fitbit Edge with a bigger display

Google has officially introduced the Fitbit Edge, a new fitness tracker positioned between the screenless Fitbit Air and the Pixel Watch 5. It features a larger OLED display, built-in GPS, advanced health sensors, a replaceable battery and up to seven days of battery life.

The Fitbit Edge offers ECG, heart rate, blood oxygen and skin temperature tracking, along with notifications, Google Maps and music controls. However, it lacks NFC payments, a microphone and a speaker.

The Fitbit Edge costs $179.99, with pre-orders opening October 12 and general availability starting October 27.
