Google Wallet for Android is rolling out a new notifications feed, accessible through a bell icon on the home screen, providing updates about items stored in the app. Google is also expanding digital passport support, with Ireland and Italy joining the existing list of supported countries, including the US, UK, Singapore, Brazil and Taiwan.
Adding a digital passport requires scanning the passport’s information page and security chip, followed by facial verification. Both features are rolling out gradually.
