iOS 27 introduces Impersonation Risk Detection, a security feature that helps identify real-time scams involving attackers posing as banks, government agencies or trusted people. It assesses potential risks and provides supported apps with a risk level, allowing them to display warnings or request additional authentication.
The feature is disabled by default. To enable it, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Impersonation Risk Detection and turn on “Share with App Developers.”
