Samsung’s new SmartTag 3 is expanding compatibility beyond Galaxy smartphones. In addition to the newly announced iPhone support, Samsung has confirmed that the tracker will also work with other Android devices running Android 12 or later.
Some features remain limited to compatible Galaxy devices. For example, Compass View requires a Galaxy phone with UWB or Bluetooth Channel Sounding support.
The SmartTag 3 will launch in South Korea this week, while US sales are expected to begin in November.
