YouTube announced new features for Premium subscribers, currently available for Android users in the US and soon on iOS. These include a Jump ahead button using AI to skip to the most interesting part of a video and Picture-in-picture (PiP) mode for YouTube Shorts. Experimental features include smart downloads for Shorts and Conversational AI that answers questions and suggests related content. A redesigned Watch Page, exclusive to web users, offers an improved way to find related content and engage with comments.
