Just before Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, leaker Evan Blass revealed key details about the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 foldable phones. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 appears to be an incremental upgrade with unchanged camera setup, 4,400mAh battery, and 25W charging, but it is slightly shorter, wider, and 14 grams lighter. The internal display may be 1.5 times brighter, and it includes Galaxy AI features. The Z Flip 6 gets more significant updates, including a larger 4,000mAh battery, a new 50MP primary camera, and a vapor chamber for better thermal performance. Both phones will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance. Samsung’s Unpacked event is on July 10, and pre-reservations come with a $50 credit and potential savings up to $1500.
