These would be less ambitious than its earlier AR glasses project, which isn’t expected before 2027. Inspired by the success of Meta’s $299 Ray-Ban smart glasses, Apple’s version could offer features like cameras, music playback, and calls, but without AR capabilities like head-tracking or integrated displays. This would make them cheaper, less complex, and offer better battery life. The smart glasses market is heating up, with Samsung also working on a similar project.
