Apple’s new sleep apnea detection feature for the Apple Watch has received FDA certification. The feature will be available on the Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10, and Ultra 2, and will launch with watchOS 11. After ten nights of sleep tracking within a 30-day period, the feature can detect potential sleep apnea and prompt users to seek a formal diagnosis. Samsung’s Galaxy Watches received FDA approval for sleep apnea detection earlier this year.
