The HONOR Magic 7 series is set to launch on October 30, as announced by CEO George Zhao. The Magic OS 9.0 software will debut earlier, on October 23, with hopes for a global release by year-end.
The Magic 7 phones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and possibly a large silicon-carbon battery like the Magic 6 Pro’s 5,600mAh. While the Magic 6 Pro impressed with battery life, camera and performance, it was criticized for poor USB-PD support and its software. The Magic 7 series launch is likely China-only, with a global release in early 2025.
