Google is working on app to combat motion sickness

Google is testing a Motion Cues feature for Android to help reduce motion sickness, similar to Apple’s Vehicle Motion Cues on iOS 18. Activated via Google Play Services beta v24.29.32, the feature uses animated black dots at screen edges to mimic vehicle movement, easing sensory conflicts without interrupting screen activities.

Users can toggle Motion Cues through a Quick Settings tile and set it to auto-enable during driving. While not yet live, its advanced development suggests a public release may be coming soon.
