Samsung is reportedly planning to launch its first tri-fold smartphone in the second half of 2025, following Huawei’s Mate XT. Limited to fewer than 300,000 units due to production challenges, the device is expected to be Samsung’s most expensive foldable yet.
The tri-fold screen, made by Samsung Display, folds differently from the Mate XT to enhance durability, with no exposed folding screen. When unfolded, the screen sizes are said to be 10.5 inches on the left and 12.4 inches on the right. However, it won’t feature an under-display camera.
