The upcoming Oppo Find N5 and OnePlus Open 2 are set to break records as the thinnest book-style foldables. Leaked images of the Oppo Find N5 reveal a jaw-droppingly thin design, approximately 3.5-4mm when unfolded—about the thickness of four stacked credit cards or two quarters. This undercuts the current leader, the Honor Magic V3, which is 4.35mm thick when open.
Despite its slim profile, the device reportedly features a 20% larger battery than the Oppo Find N3. Oppo’s Zhou Yibao noted that the charging port limits further reductions in thickness. The Oppo Find N5 is expected to launch in February, with the OnePlus Open 2 likely following soon, potentially debuting at Mobile World Congress in early March.
