Snapchat has introduced AI-generated Lenses for Snapchat Platinum subscribers. Using an in-house generative video model, these new AI Video Lenses offer more realistic effects. Currently, three lenses are available: Raccoon and Fox, which animate furry characters and Spring Flowers, which creates a zoom-out bouquet effect. More AI Lenses will be added in the future. Users can browse the app while videos are processed. This move follows Instagram’s announcement of its own AI-based filters, though they haven’t launched yet.
