Apple is developing its own smart glasses, codenamed N50, aiming to integrate AI features without the high cost of true augmented reality. Similar to Meta’s Ray-Ban collaboration, the glasses will offer environmental analysis and audio features, but likely without displays or cameras due to privacy concerns. Apple is also working on AirPods with cameras. Both products are expected to launch around 2027.
