Apple exec: You may not need an iPhone 10 years from now

Apple’s services chief, Eddy Cue, warned that the iPhone could become obsolete within a decade due to the rise of artificial intelligence. He compared this shift to Apple’s bold decision to phase out the iPod and noted that even once-mighty companies like HP and Sun Microsystems have faded. While early AI devices haven’t replaced smartphones yet, Apple is reportedly exploring alternatives like AI-integrated smartwatches, AirPods and glasses.
