U.S. and China drive iPhone rebound for April and May

iPhone sales are rebounding, with a 15% year-over-year increase in April and May, marking Apple’s strongest spring performance since the pandemic. In China, Apple reclaimed the top spot in May, while U.S. sales rose amid trade tensions. Growth also continued in India and Japan, where the iPhone 16e proved popular. AI hasn’t significantly influenced smartphone purchases yet, giving Apple more time to roll out its Apple Intelligence features.
