Google is bringing its advanced Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model to Search’s AI Mode, along with a new “Deep Research” tool for more detailed responses. Gemini 2.5 Pro excels at reasoning, math, and coding but must be manually selected in the AI Mode tab. These features are available to AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers in Labs. Additionally, a new AI-powered calling feature is rolling out in the US, letting users get business info like pricing without making a call. Free users will have limited access to this capability.
