Apple may remove the physical SIM card slot from the upcoming iPhone 17 models in the EU, moving fully to eSIM. Authorized Reseller staff are being trained on eSIM support by September 5, just before the iPhone 17 launch event. While the change is confirmed for Europe, it could expand worldwide, with possible exceptions like China.
