Google will not be required to sell Chrome or Android

A U.S. court has ruled that Google won’t be forced to sell off Chrome or Android in its antitrust case, nor require choice screens for users. Instead, the company is barred from exclusive contracts that tie Search, Chrome, Assistant or Gemini to preloaded apps, though it can still pay partners to include them. The decision lets Google keep its core products but limits how it can lock in defaults.
