Chrome for Android is rolling out an AI-powered upgrade to its Read Aloud feature. Instead of reading webpages word-for-word, it can now create Audio Overviews – podcast-style summaries voiced by two AI hosts. The option appears under Listen to this page in the app menu, with a toggle in Reading Mode. First tested in Canary and beta builds, the feature is now reaching stable Chrome, borrowing the AI audio concept from Google’s NotebookLM and Gemini.
