ESPN, ABC and more could leave YouTube TV

YouTube TV may soon lose Disney channels — including ESPN and ABC — as their carriage deal expires on October 30. Disney accuses Google of exploiting its position, warning viewers they could lose major sports like the NFL and NBA. Google says Disney is demanding “costly terms” that would raise prices for users while benefiting its own services like Hulu + Live TV. If no deal is reached, Disney content will be pulled, though Google promises a $20 credit for affected subscribers. Negotiations remain tense but may still reach a last-minute agreement.
