A new report reveals fresh details about Samsung’s upcoming smart glasses, codenamed “Haean.” The device reportedly carries the model number SM-O200P, suggesting Samsung sees it as a different product category from the Galaxy XR headset.
The glasses are said to include transition lenses that automatically darken in sunlight, plus a built-in camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (but no mobile data). Earlier leaks pointed to a 12MP Sony IMX681 sensor for QR scanning and gesture control, a Qualcomm AR1 chipset, additional NXP processing hardware and a 155mAh battery.
Samsung originally expected to unveil the glasses alongside the Galaxy XR, but that didn’t happen. Their launch date remains unknown.
