Spotify is adding a new “Import your music” option to its mobile app, letting users transfer playlists from rival services without leaving Spotify. The feature uses built-in TuneMyMusic integration and appears in the Your Library tab. It’s meant to lower the barrier for switching platforms as Spotify deals with recent backlash and listener losses. The tool opens a native in-app transfer interface and bypasses typical playlist limits — but only for moving into Spotify, not out.
